Single Mantle Kerosene Lantern

A very pretty lantern. I was really please how well the grime came off the nickel, especially the lower frame and burner tubes which were horrible. There are a few rubs and scuffs in the nickel but it still shines brilliantly in most places. There are a couple of areas that have a little haze but overall excellent.

Globe is very light Sunshine globe. I do not know the history of the lantern nor globe but they were together when found.

I rebuilt the lantern and she runs great. I replaced the valve stem packing filler cap gasket. The generator was cleaned well enough to find the very cool tube markings pictured below. She fires right up and burns exactly as you'd expect.

There is cracking, some lost enamel and rusted areas on the ventilator. It still looks good with no large chips or dings.
