Coleman Model 426C

Three Burner Camp Stove

Born in 1962, 1963 or 1964

Condition: Fair

Cosmetically this stove is fair, operationally it is excellent.

I washed the case in hot water to remove the numerous layers of grease. As you can see there is a bit of rust on the inside. Also please notice the hammer marks on the front-right of the case, below the handle. Someone obviously hit this stove with something pretty large, and it put a nice dent in it. Then they beat the hell out of it with a hammer. I did not do this lol.

Beyond the obvious imperfections in the case paint, there is a bit of rust on the latches and the legs. The grills were soaked and came out pretty nice. The tank was completely disassembled, cleaned and reassembled. The generator and check valve were cleaned and reused, the filler cap gasket and valve stem packing were replaced.

I painted the bare manifold parts silver. As seen in the photos, the stove has a light coat of oil to make it look nice and to deter rust. It lights as it should and really burns well.

Not the prettiest stove, but one capable of taking care of your family & friends for years to come.
