Coleman Model 523

United States Army Medical Department (USA MD)

Burner Unit

Condition: Very Good

If it could talk. Stove has an earlier model but date unknown. Case is steel which dates that to the late 1940s or early 1950s. The case also has a very thick coat of olive drab paint, inside and out. And you can tell that it was applied with a brush.

The stove frame has some rust and paint loss. I removed the tank and cleaned the individual parts. Both burners were disassembled, cleaned and reassembled with new vaporizors and valve stem packings. They both burn exactly as they should. The check valve was cleaned and retained. Gas cap seals fine. Excellent running stove.

The wrench is tucked away inside the frame, as are both maintenance tubes. Each tube contains (1) complete vaporizer, (3) vaporizer screens, (1) cleaner rod (1) vaporizer gas tip and (1) valve stem packing. Both kits are complete.

Asking price is $100.00, plus shipping and insurance.
