This is the only appliance on the most recent "Ready to Ship" batch that I did not rebuild. This one was dusted off, fired, photographed and put in a box.

This is the only Coleman "disc" that I have ever found. They were made so that you could perfectly fit a single mantle lantern in a double mantle's clamshell case. It is undated but the lantern is stamped February of 1979 and the clamshell is stamped March of 1979. Package came to me without a funnel, so I added a pretty NOS aluminum one for you.

As stated, NOT rebuilt. It passed the standard 1-hour burn test and the filler cap gasket is sealing just fine. Cosmetically there is a very small amount of paint loss on the fount (bottom edge), and a scratch that I did not do. I'd admit it if I did... When I turned the lantern to unscrew the filler cap my heart sank. Based on the angle and depth of the scratch, I'd say someone loosened the filler cap with a plier of some type--at night and in the dark. No other explanation that I can come up with for someone to be so careless with a beautiful red paint job.

There are a couple of minor chips in the ventilator, above the bail hole on the left side. The globe has two mantle burn marks in it, both smaller than a dime. The decal has "fallen" and it appears to be caused by a piece of duct tape that was put on the bail at that spot to reduce bail slap. I left the tape on the bail.

Nice combo here that you won't find at Walmart.
