Condition: Near Mint

Defects to note: one enamel chip at ball nut on ventilator, one small spot of paint loss on the bottom rim of fount, some very light scuffing on the backside of the fount and some sort of discoloration on a small portion of the frame rest. Please see photos. Otherwise, mint condition. Just beautiful.

I posted pictures of the inside of this fount on Facebook because I have never seen a vintage one this clean. It looks exactly as it did over 70 years ago.

Lantern was disassembled, cleaned and rebuilt with a new valve stem packing and filler cap gasket, and a gasket added to the original and cleaned check valve. The generator that was on the lantern was cleaned and reused, it is a plated one. The frame is in awesome condition with little to no paint loss or damage. It was missing the generator-side washer but I installed one to replace it.

For future reference, when you find a black band that needs cosmetic help: frame rest is gloss, frame is semi-gloss.
