Old Town Coleman's "Ready to Ship"
Coleman Model CQ
Quick Lite Table Lamp
Born in June of 1926
Condition: Excellent
I don't often sell lamps because they need a shade to be complete, and I don't want to deal with packing a lamp with a shade. But I'll tell you from experience that a fired Coleman table lamp with glass shade is one of the most beautiful things you will ever lay eyes on.
This lamp is being sold without pump or shade.
She's a beauty! The top cap on the handle has been depressed by the lock nut over the years and, like so many other CQ lamps, it makes the handle sloppy. It isn't visually loose but you can tell once you touch it. Please note that there is a very short video below to show how it is.
Light scratching and some dark spots on the nickel but it still has "that" shine to it. The shade rest was pretty rusty so I cleaned and painted it flat black. There was a bit more gook laying on the bottom of the fount than I like so it got an EvapoRust treatment.
The Q99 that was on the lamp when I got it looked to be in nice condition so it was retained, and it works very well. I replaced the valve stem packing and added a "427" Viton gasket to the filler cap. Fount is stamped "6 6" and the valve wheel is stamped with an E.
To reduce the size of the box, the burner was removed from the fount. You'll just need to screw it back on and tighten.
Asking price is $100 plus insured shipping.
This item is boxed and ready to ship. It weighs 6.1lbs and measures 13"x11"x11". Use those measurements and a shipping zip code of 83858 at the USPS or UPS or FedEx website for an estimate. We use Pirate Ship to save on shipping costs and have never charged a shipping or handling fee.
First come, first served. No warranty, sold as-is.
